Frequently asked questions

What is ADHD coaching for?

With an ADHD coach, you’ll set goals to address challenges in your daily life, as well as exploring different coping skills to manage your ADHD more effectively. You’ll learn more about the unique ways your brain works, and create new habits and systems to support your personal growth.

How do I know if I’d benefit from coaching?

The best way to figure out if you’d benefit from coaching is to book an intake session with a coach! In general, most people with ADHD can benefit from having a coach’s perspective, especially if they find their ADHD difficult to manage on their own.

How does Inflow vet its coaches?

Inflow coaches go through an extensive interview process, including with our Clinical Director, Dr. George Sachs. We look at a coach’s experience, credentials, and lived experience to help determine if they would be a good fit for our community. Coaches are also closely supervised by our team and regularly evaluated based on client feedback.

Do I have to subscribe to Inflow’s app to access these services?

We offer coaching to the broader ADHD community regardless of whether or not you use the Inflow app. However, we believe that the Inflow program and community can be a huge help and creates a stronger foundation for coaching. This is why we encourage you to try our 7-day free trial to see if Inflow might be a good fit for you.

How often should I book my sessions?

Everyone’s needs are different, and highly dependent upon the amount of accountability a client needs to succeed. Our coaches will make recommendations and work with you to determine how often you should meet. Typically, clients will meet with their coaches weekly or every other week, though in unique cases, some clients prefer to meet monthly.

How much do coaching sessions cost?

Most experienced coaches will charge around $200 or more per session. However, at Inflow, we’re determined to make coaching more affordable. Our sessions cost $99 for 50 minutes, and if you book a weekly recurring session, the cost is reduced to $87.25.

Do I have to sign up for a package, or can I just book one session at a time?

Many coaches require that clients sign up for a package deal. However, we know that the cost of a package can be steep and inaccessible. As such, there’s no minimum session requirement at Inflow — you can book as few or as many sessions as you’d like, all on your own schedule.

How long does it take for coaching to work?

Everyone’s experience of coaching will be unique. While a single session can certainly be helpful, we encourage clients to try a few sessions to get a feel for how coaching works and what to expect.
