Frequently asked questions

What is Inflow?

Inflow helps you manage your ADHD through a science-based digital program. The program is available through an app for Apple and Android smartphones.

You’ll learn how to improve your productivity, organization, lifestyle, anxiety, nutrition, impulsivity and much more. Apply these learnings through skill-building challenges, ADHD-specific meditations, prioritization tools, and interactive journaling; make sure to also take advantage of Inflow’s community of experts and peers to help you on your journey!

Inflow is designed to help you understand yourself, learn about your ADHD, and develop new habits to help you thrive.

What is CBT?

CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Clinical research shows that it can deliver real-world benefits for adults with ADHD. CBT is a targeted, skill-based intervention, and focuses on effective management of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

For many, access to this potentially life-changing therapy is limited and financially inaccessible, which is where Inflow comes in.

We’ve called on some of the leading ADHD therapists and experts so that you can receive an industry-leading CBT program from your phone.

How often do I need to use Inflow?

Each daily exercise is about five minutes in length. While there are other great features in our app that you may want to explore, the simplest way to use Inflow is to commit to using it a few minutes each day. However, Inflow is a self-directed program, so you are free to take it at your own pace.

What results can I expect from Inflow?

Inflow will give you:

1) A deeper understanding of yourself and your ADHD.

2) A toolbox full of tangible strategies to help you manage your ADHD more effectively.

3) A supportive ADHD community in your pocket.

What if I can't afford the monthly or yearly cost?

We understand that members of our community may be faced with financial difficulties. Inflow is committed to reducing these barriers wherever possible. We encourage you to apply for our affordability program or, if applicable, take advantage of our student discount.

How do I cancel my Inflow subscription?

What is ADHD?

In diagnostic terms, ADHD stands for Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder. At Inflow, however, we consider ADHD to be a neurological difference.

Being different can mean that thriving in a neurotypical world may be challenging. Having ADHD can result in very real struggles that are difficult, and sometimes painful.

But we also know that people with ADHD can learn skills and create environments that truly help them thrive. Our mission is to help you work with, not against, your ADHD so you can reach your full potential.

How do I know if Inflow is right for me?

ADHD (or ADD) impacts each person in a unique way. The best way to see if Inflow is a good fit for you is to try it!

We encourage you to take advantage of our free 7-day trial to see if you’ll benefit from our program. But don't worry -- we provide refunds if you forget to cancel!

Can Inflow diagnose me with ADHD?

No. Inflow is not a diagnostic tool, and we encourage anyone seeking a diagnosis to reach out to a trusted medical professional for guidance.

However, if you suspect you may have ADHD, you can still benefit from our program, as the skills we offer are helpful regardless.

Learn more about finding the right medical professional for your ADHD diagnosis on the Inflow blog.

How can I get the most out of Inflow?

Remember that there is no “silver bullet” that will magically transform your ADHD overnight. Instead, consistency and self-compassion are key ingredients for the best possible Inflow experience.

Who is the program narrated by?

Inflow is narrated by co-founder and clinical director, Dr. George Sachs, as well as guest experts.

Is Inflow a substitute for medication and face-to-face therapy?

No - we are not trying to replace medication or in-person therapy. These work for a lot of people! We encourage our members to take advantage of whatever tools are available to them. Inflow can be used alongside medication, in-person therapy, or on its own. Inflow is cost-effective, convenient, and comes with no negative side-effects.

How much does Inflow cost?

There are two options:
