Frequently Asked Questions

What is Inflow?

Inflow is the first science-based digital program to manage ADHD.

Our app-based program is delivered through your phone and comprehensively covers impulsivity, mindfulness, time management, organization, lifestyle, procrastination, and how to manage emotions.
Each module has short daily exercises that will help you learn about yourself, your ADHD, your cognitive distortions, and how to develop new habits through practicing skills and techniques. Alongside this, Inflow also offers; tangible challenges, daily reminders, ADHD-specific meditations, an interactive journal, prioritization tools, a progress tracker, and a supportive and stigma-free community. Inflow is built by people with ADHD, for people with ADHD.

What is ADHD?

ADHD is a neurological difference. We don't believe that people with ADHD are deficient, just different. At Inflow, we value this diversity as we believe it brings color and connection to our world.

Being different, however, can mean that thriving in a neurotypical world may be challenging. Having ADHD can result in struggles that are real, difficult, and, sometimes, painful.

But we also know that people with ADHD can learn skills and create environments that help them to truly thrive. Our mission is to help you work with, not against, your ADHD so you can reach your full potential.

Is Inflow right for me?

ADHD is a complex neurological difference that affects everyone differently.

This program won’t work for everyone, which is why we offer a free 7-day trial.

What is CBT?

CBT stands for cognitive behavioral therapy. It is supported by clinical results which show that it can deliver real-world benefits for adults with ADHD. CBT is a targeted, skills-based intervention, and focuses on helping you effectively manage your thoughts, your emotions, and your behaviors.

The problem is, not a lot of people can get access to this potentially life-changing therapy, which is where Inflow comes in.

We have worked hard to distil the combined knowledge of the world's top ADHD therapists and experts so that you can receive an industry-leading CBT program from your phone.

How often do I need to use Inflow?

Each daily exercise is around five minutes. While there are a lot of great features within the app, at it’s very simplest we recommend committing to just one exercise per day.
We recognize this can be a lot to ask, but we’re confident that we’ve managed to fit all the best ADHD techniques into the shortest amount of time. We made sure to keep the sessions short so you can integrate the program into your daily routine.
Don't worry if you miss a day, just pick up where you left off.

How can I get the most out of Inflow?

2) Be accountable: Change has to start with you and you have to want to make improvements in your life. 3) Keep perspective: Approaching your ADHD with intentionality and mindfulness creates a safe and forgiving environment; mindset and perspective are your best friends.

Is Inflow a substitute for medication and face-to-face therapy?

Inflow's mission is to help every person with ADHD reach their full potential, and we are doing this by providing convenient and accessible support.
We are not trying to replace medication or in-person therapy. These work for a lot of people and we would never want to invalidate or further stigmatize anyone’s ADHD experience. We want to help as many people as possible experience the proven benefits of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and learn to overcome their day-to-day challenges in a safe and stigma-free environment. Inflow can be used alongside medication, in-person therapy, or on it's own. Inflow is cost-effective, convenient, and comes with no negative side-effects.
