Becki Robins (she/her) lives in the small town of Rough and Ready California, which does in fact exist. She has four extremely loud children and one mild-mannered British husband, but usually prefers the company of chickens. Becki has a master's degree in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University. Her work has appeared in Undark.org, the Atlantic, Smithsonian, and Scientific American. In her practically non-existent off-time, she enjoys road-tripping, photography, geeky domestic crafts, and embarrassing her children.
